Saturday May 9th marked the 6th STRIVE event for Downers Grove Campus Life and it was an amazing day of serving our community. Over 80 students, volunteers, and CL alumni all worked together to perform much-needed work in our community. The results were simply amazing!:

25 Senior Homes cleaned/repaired
2 Single mom's homes reparied
Senior Home sharing home landscaped
Assisted in picking up food for Postal Workers Annual food drive
Helped grounds crew at Fairview Baptist Village with major projects

The day was a major success and was capped off with a spectacular celebration with tons of amazing food supplied by generous restaurants in our community.

So far we have raised over $18,000 for Campus Life and keeping it going throughout the year. We still have not reached our goal of $35,000, but we are confident that we will keep STRIVEing towards it!

We said goodbye and celebrated our seniors as they move on to the next phase of life, but continue to remain a big part of Campus Life.

The day was an amazing success and showed our community exactly how much students can care.
