May 1st marked the first annual STRIVE 5k run/walk. We saw over 125 runners/walkers compete for an amazing day of fun! Thank you to everyone who participated as a competitor or volunteer!

Saturday May 9th marked the 6th STRIVE event for Downers Grove Campus Life and it was an amazing day of serving our community. Over 80 students, volunteers, and CL alumni all worked together to perform much-needed work in our community. The results were simply amazing!:

25 Senior Homes cleaned/repaired
2 Single mom's homes reparied
Senior Home sharing home landscaped

Recap of the 2009 STRIVE workday. Over 70 high school students blanketed the Downers Grove, Darien and Westmont area as they donated a full day of labor to serve their community. Projects included:

The Letter Carriers food drive
Fairview Baptist Home
Senior Home Sharing
DuPage Sr. Citizens Council
Single Moms and Seniors in our local churches

STRIVEFEST RECAP

Saturday night was huge as local and national talent descended on the Warehouse for a huge show! The Fold put on an amazing headlining show set up by an amazing performance by hometown favorite Plunket. Fire and Forget played their last show to close out their career and the Robbery kicked everything off with an amazing performance. The show was amazing and if you weren't there, you missed out!
